If you just want a taster of the water you can
hire a day boat. Or you can spend all your break
or holiday on the Broads using the multiple and
varied mooring spots close to watering holes
and tearooms.
From the south, visitors can sail past St Olaves
and Fritton and across to Burgh Castle at the
con昀氀ux of the River Yare and the River Waveney
and along to Breydon Water where the sunsets
are stunning.
Take a riverside walk and spot the wildlife and
nature along the way in the natural habitats
of reserves.
There are plenty of longer walks taking in
the villages and beautiful Broads views all
over the area •
You can also hire canoes, kayaks and standup paddle boards if you want to experience a
di昀昀erent view, or perhaps if you prefer land to
water hire a bicycle or tandem to ride along the
many miles of cycle path routes.
